Many of the brands that we carry at Faire Frou Frou were beautifully featured in Contemporary Lingerie Design, the latest must-have luxury lingerie book to hit the shelves. 30 of the world's top lingerie designers (Andres Sarda, Guia la Bruna, Made by Niki, The Lake & Stars, Fifi Chachnil, Fleur of England, and so forth) were interviewed and provided insight into how they create their collections and what influences their work. The author, Kate Dominy, unveils the global market of luxury lingerie, which has been a huge growth industry in the past decade in not only Europe and the US, but countries such as Japan, South Africa and Australia.
We actually are simply enjoying the beautiful pictures, as we see a lot of familiar pieces that are currently being sold on our website (the book just published in 2010)! We wish we could find more images online!
