New creative collective Invisible Outfit announced

Earlier today, longtime collaborators Clothing designer/fashion stylist Molly Roark and hairstylist Jen Hughes officially announced the establishment of their new creative collective, Invisible Outfit. According to the group's Facebook page, the collective is an "ever-evolving troupe of aesthetically aligned artists, creatives and friends." Fpr the group's first official project, Roark and Hughes will be joined by fashion designer Greta Herman, stylist Danielle Morris, illustrator Lisa Luck, and stylist Mike Head to style the band Pink Mink at Voltage: Fashion Amplified on April 15.

This came out a few days ago, but I decided to post it anyway for posterity. Voltage 2011 band designers have been announced, and here's the rundown:

Carly Schoen also posted her proposal on her blog:

Danielle Everine - Fall 2010 Collection Lookbook Preview

Hairstylist Jen Hughes posted a couple of behind-the-scenes preview images of Danielle Everine's Fall 2010 Collection shoot. The collection debuted on the runway at Everine's joint show with Raul Osorio, "Pale Rider," last month. I'm excited to see the final images, especially with photographer Ingrid Werthmann (one of the best in town) behind the lens.

Local stylists style Simon Doonan's Halloween collection for Target

Some local stylists got the opportunity of a lifetime when they were asked to style the Haunted Couture by Simon Doonan for Target runway show a few months back. Wigs were created by Jen Hughes, Christy Dylo, Santa Fe Gates, Larissa Wong, Samuel Farrand, Woody Theis; costumes by Molly Roark, Anna Aslani, Mike Head, Greta Herman, and Lisa Luck; and makeup by Janell Geason, Stephanie Domrose, Christopher Prather, and Daniela Serra. Now, you can see the full video from the show on Target's Facebook page (embedded below):

Just announced: MNfashion presents Pale Rider

One of the keystone events during this fall's MNfashion Week is sure to be "Pale Rider," a fashion show produced by MNfashion featuring local designers (and Voltage 2010 alumni) Raul Osorio and Danielle Everine. The show has just been announced along with a handful of lovely images courtesy of photographer Ingrid Werthmann (without a doubt one of the best fashion photographers in town), Molly Roark and Gail Madden - which wouldn't be out of place in a national fashion publication.

About the show: "Danielle's collection embraces traditional wild-west styles while converging with biblical imagery of Revelations, the last book in the New Testament. Raul's collection explores the juxtaposition of hard lines, soft textures, masculine silhouettes and feminine lightness. While each designer drew inspiration from very different places, Pale Rider embraces both to create an extremely cohesive fall runway show."
